Why the inner surface is different

Flexible displays use a layered structure that bends thousands of times at the same point. A top film may be part of that engineered stack rather than an ordinary accessory. Pulling it away can place uneven force on the softer display underneath.

Use a clean microfiber cloth with very light pressure. Remove grit before wiping, avoid pushing a fingernail into the crease, and never close the phone with cards, keys or debris between the halves.

What not to apply

Avoid unapproved glass protectors, adhesive films and harsh cleaners. A protector designed for rigid glass may resist bending or transfer stress to the fold. Follow current cleaning instructions and use only a slightly damp cloth when appropriate.

When to seek service

A speck on top differs from a bubble growing beneath a layer, an edge that keeps lifting, dead pixels or clicking at the hinge. Stop folding repeatedly if damage spreads and document it with photos.
